I dreamed last night that the little parish chapel of St. Thomas Aquinas (where he grew up) was in a museum here in Arizona, complete with the wall frescoes. I worked at the museum, as both a tour guide, and as a deacon in the chapel, which, for some reason, was also serving as an Orthodox Church.

It was quite...odd, but the iconography was pretty cool.

Also, holy mackerel, water is coming from the sky!

Selling costumes, wigs and accessories here!!

I'm going to completely ignore the fact that I just learned some stuff that's going to have a marked effect on how things run around here (namely, they'll get worse), and, instead of worrying myself (which I can do later anyway), I'll share some photos I took yesterday.

I went to visit Palatki Heritage Site, near Sedona. It was a cheap trip, and all it cost me was a red rock pass for the day, and less than a gallon of gas. I had heard there was some neat rock art (Pictoglyphs, which are painted on, rather than petroglyphs, which are carved), as well as a pretty neat ruin.

There's another site a little farther away, Honanki, but I decided to keep that for another day, so that way on another day when I was bored out of my wits, I still had something new to do. :-)


Here's the approach from Cottonwood, down a mildly annoying dirt road that is, as of right now, passable with a passenger car like our family's. You can also see, peeking over the horizon, the famous red rocks that bring a lot of people into Sedona. Along with the vortex-loving crazies.

i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find a wig in this exact style, but in red:

i found this wig in wigstylist's ebay store. i asked if he carried it in red and he said no.

i've checked both cosworx and amphigory. i can't find anything else like it! :( please let me know if you know of any other place that has something like it. i'm no good at styling wigs, so if i could buy it as is that would be great.

I am in an oddly good mood this morning. Not sure why. Game last night was a dismal failure... so susan, mel, and I went out for drinks instead. It ended up being more fun than game would have been.

I was actually supposed to be writing a new Yullen (Kanda x Allen) one-shot I was planning to post up my other ff.net account. The very first one I created out of the three accounts I have, but instead, I spent my time rearranging the pictures from the latest chapter to create this two page comic of sorts.
