Still one of my favorite songs by him.
Issaquah school district just called and they want to schedule an interview. They're waiting for my reference letters and I have to get a copy of my driving record. :D
Yesterday was my first job cleaning homes. It wasn't really hard, just a little tiring. They time went by fast though and the pay is good. If I can get this job as a school bus driver though it would be the best pay I have ever had and would work out really well.

I don't know why he is never home to see these damn things, but I got out of the shower and in front of the door was another giant house spider. I killed it. Bastard. Anyway, Derek was at work, so I thought I would tell him about it.
Me: Why are you never here to see these damn things?! Just killed one of those giant house spiders.
Derek: How big? ^_^
Me: About the same size as the other two. It was right by our bed too, not in the living room.
Derek: Crazy
Me: Yeah, giant house spiders sharing the same living space as me = not cool.
Derek: ^_^
Me: It was by your side of the bed, at least.
Derek: Fuck you
Me: Hey, I killed it for you. I'll bring it back to life and put it on your pillow if you want to throw down.
Derek: No >_<
Me: That's right. You don't fuck with someone who can bring giant house spiders back to life.

Today was a pretty good day, got a lot done. Woke up around 7:30, worked out, took a shower, did some school work, laundry, dishes, watched Transformers, unpacked 3 boxes (all Dragonlance books XD ) balanced and budgeted checkbook and bills, got the mail, applied for 2 jobs (one of which required lots of paperwork) and organized the apartment. I still have some school work to do but first I'm going to take a bunch of boxes down to the recycle bin. :D

Yes! It's a day before we leave for Expo but I still have to try and go. Jacqueline Carey is doing a book signing in Seattle June 29th! Thank you again Alyssa for getting me into her stuff. :D

So things might be looking up in financial news! I got a second job today as a house cleaner for Dana's Housekeeping. I'll be cleaning, running errands, yard work, etc for clients here 4 hours at a time. $50 for each 4 hour session right after I'm done. I don't even have to wait for a paycheck. Now I have to hope I can get lots and lots of hours with them because the only work I have with CSC anytime soon is June 13th and it's only 11 hours. The next event is at the end of the month a couple of days before expo. I really hope the housecleaning works out so that I can:
A) Pay bills for July
B) Pay for and attend Expo
C) Pay Derek back for groceries
D) Save up for house/Japan
E) Pay off loans and cards
F) Attend Washington Academy of Languages in July
That and CSC could mean 60 hours a week and really good pay, better than Amex and maybe even Att.
Dr. Angry stalled again today. I took him to AA Auto this morning and they need more time to try and figure out why it keeps happening. I need the car for tomorrow morning (NW Fertility Physical) so I got him back for now but he'll be back in the shop (free of charge) either tomorrow night or the next day (after I give more plasma).
Bills are paid for June. Thank you everyone for your support....and porn.

Time for another day at the Plasma Center! They're probably going to be pretty busy so I might be there until 4 today... :( Oh well, $35 is $35.
My interview two days ago with Panera bread went really well and the manager said she would be contacting me later that day to schedule an interview with the General manager. I hadn't heard anything so I just called and they have already filled the positions.
Also, after putting $1800 into my car, it stalled today.
I don't know who I pissed off to make everything go so badly.

Home and unpacking. Very very tired. I don't want to wash dishes anymore...
On the super plus (tampon) side, I have an interview with Panera bread on Wednesday!!!
So excited!

Finally finished packing and getting the tools to put the shelves together. Also made sure plans were taken care of with mom and dad. Now I get to put shelves together! Plane leaves at 7:14, a 45 minutes stop in SLC (punk) and then in Phoenix by noon. It's going to be really, really hot.
Oh my god, it is raining like crazy outside. I really hope Stephen and Jarrad make it back from Hollywood video. The weather here is so crazy. :P
Yes! I have my cap and gown, the apartment is cleaned, dinner is planned, new credit union account opened, Bank of American emptied and almost cancelled...
And a new wallpaper full of sunshine and rainbows:

I have great news for spider lovers (Stephen) who are coming to visit tomorrow.
These ( things ) keep showing up in the apartment. I found one last night and one a couple of minutes ago. They are freaking huge! The one I found tonight was on the ceiling and the size of a quarter (I wanted to get a picture of it, but when I got it on the phone, it didn't do the size justice). Apparently they get much larger and are only found in the Northwest. They are really scary...

So, that semi-good day I was having? Gone. I logged onto Bank of America today to find that both of my credit cards have had huge line decreases. One of the cards is now within $20 of maxing out. I have never missed a payment on either card (I have had one for 4 years, the other for 3) and I have never maxed either one out. I called to see why they did this without any notice and it's because I requested a line increase on one of them. They checked out my accounts and decided I was a risk (which is weird because again, never missed a payment, over 710 credit score, the only thing is that I currently don't have income). So, not only did they decline my increase (which I could live with) they brought one down $1,500 and the other $1,000. I don't need them to go on extravagant trips or to buy designer purses. I need them to pay for gas next week to get back from Phoenix. I need them for groceries, for gas here...and now I can't use either one. The one that isn't almost maxed out I now need to touch even less for emergencies (like putting $1800 of car repairs on it like I just did for the other one less than two weeks ago). Thanks Bank of America, I'm glad I can count on you to screw me over once again during a great week that has already become synonymous with screwing me over.
So, the whole job anger has blown over. Working on moving on to find something else. McDonald's, Lovers, Panera, Anchor Blue, Teavana, and REI applications since then. Well, REI I'll turn in today. After I finish the dishes and school work I'm driving down to REI and then to MArymoor park to get more sunburned (I'll wear sunscreen today). Yesterday was awesome and helped me forget how crappy things were getting.
Got up at 6:30 to get ready and leave for Shoreline at 8am. Met up with Stephen, had a nutritous Starbucks breakfast and went to a zoo volunteer orientation until 11am. I turned in an application, but the docent position I would like to volunteer for requires 3 Saturdays a month for 4 months and depending on the job I have, might not work. After orientation we went back to the apartment, got Jarrad and had Dick's burgers for lunch (were pretty good and cheap but not as great as everyone says). You can't really beat $1.70 for a burger and $1.40 for good fries (for a local place, not McDonald's or Burger King). After lunch, we wandered the U-District Street Fair and saw a guy get dollar bills stapled to his nipples. We also had really great fruit smoothies and got sweet sunburns (because for some reason even though it was sunny, we didn't think we would need sunscreen). At about 4, left the Street Fair, went to Wal-mart, cleaned out their shelved, somehow stuffed them in the Yaris and got them back to the apartment. Stephen was kind enough to load them into Dr. Angry and then called Papa Murphys to order pizzas. After we got the pizzas and some alcohol, we picked up two strange hitchhikers on the side of the road. After they promised not to kill us if we gave them a ride, we found out their names were Ken and Megan. So we all got together, looked up "Jesus" on http://rule34.paheal.net/ and played a game like telephone on the DSi. Watched a tape Megan had from high school where we all had bonfires, went to Denny's, hung out with Logun and Kris, and had Invoke inducing seizures (just me). Oh, and Kevin was tied to Megan's bed. Also played a Wii party game called Dokopan Kingdom and watched (most of) Terminator 2. At about 1, Stephen took Megan and Ken home and I drove back with my shelves.
The shelves are still in the car and will probably stay there until Tuesday (when Stephen and Jarrad help me assemble them). We're also making dinner here that night so anyone who wants to stop by, is welcome to (which is pretty much just Megan because everyone else on my LJ is in Phoenix).
I only had 4 (?) beers last night but I waited to eat until about halfway through the second one, so I was really feeling it. Ended up waking up around 10am. FInished my english muffin, should get started on things so that I can clean, do school work, turn in applications, etc. : D

Stayed up last night studying for the rest of my Japanese final (took the speaking part yesterday) and finished studying this morning. Finished the test (only left some of the sentences blank, got all of the kanji)! Went to Kirkland and got lunch at Momoya sushi and now I'm watching a National Geographic Special on jaguars. I should be sewing or doing schoolwork for my other two classes but I'm feeling lazy. I should also be working on more job stuff. Apparently 20+ applications doesn't cut it, I still don't have a job. X(
Miyavi speaks perfect English through the whole interview. Pretty impressive.
Making a spaghetti squash and sauce for it while I procrastinate not studying for my Japanese final. I also took some more pictures of the apartment area (everything is green) and a giant wiener outside of the grocery store.
( It's a big one! )

Now that Alyssa has mentioned pub crawls, I really want to go out. If I get the job at Gamestop, it could be a great way to celebrate. On the other hand, I shouldn't spend the money but one can dream.
I think the interview went okay, they will call me if I meet their requirements (much like the donation process and FDA) and there is an opening. I never know if that is a nice way of saying, "We don't need you" or if it is just honestly a, "we think you'll work out and we'll let you know." If Stephen had not vouched for me, I don't think I would have made it this far. :D Time to continue being my Boron-ish self, at home alone on the computer.
